Based on the Earthsea books this area is commonly referred to simply as Gont, which includes the smaller Island of Thwil as well.  There used to be a town called Re-Albi linked to a much smaller Gont.  But when Gont expanded Re-Albi became Cadu and the two are now in different domains.

Gont is extremely popular with many players and often one of the busiest areas in the game.  It has a lot of accessible quest and two Quest Masters (more that one quest in a series).  But what keep players coming back there is the good rewards for killing there in terms of experience and cash to be made.
